Exclusive Clip: ‘Futurama: Planet Espresso’

They brought the sacred sacrament of coffee to the universe, and they don’t do decaf… In the all-new episode streaming on Hulu September 9, Hermes inherits a Jamaican coffee farm that holds the ruins of an ancient spaceship and learns the origins of Earth’s most important elixir of life.

Hulu has shared with AWN an exclusive clip from the upcoming episode Futurama: “Planet Espresso.” In 2023, Hulu launched a revival of the epic sci-fi series from Matt Groening and David X. Cohen with the newest season launching this past July with new episodes rolling out weekly.

In the all-new episode featuring guest star Kyle Maclachlan, Hermes inherits a Jamaican coffee farm that holds the ruins of an ancient spaceship. The episode streams September 9.

On this orbit around the sun, our occasionally heroic crew embarks on mind-bending adventures involving birthday party games to the death, the secrets of Bender's ancestral robot village, A.I. friends (and enemies), impossibly cute beanbags, and the true 5 million-year-old story behind the consciousness-altering substance known as coffee. And, of course, the next chapter in Fry and Leela's fateful, time-twisted romance.

Check out the clip and see the aliens who brought the sacred sacrament of coffee to the universe and most importantly to Earth - and they don’t do decaf:
