Los Angeles-based eyeon USA is lead by Digital Fusion guru and director of business development, Rony Soussan, who has been influential in Digital Fusion's proliferation on the west coast, and has a long history as a digital compositor. Soussan offers expertise with both the product and the pipeline, as well as advanced training.
Soho-based eyeon Europe is under the helm of Daniel Germain. As director of business development, Daniel brings years of industry knowledge in compositing, special effects and high-end post-production. Germain played significant roles at both Quantel and Avid before joining eyeon.
Some might consider eyeon's expansion a bold move, as the post-production industry has experienced major deflation over the past year. Sales manager Joanne Dicaire comments, "The post-production community has been looking for the opportunity to become more efficient for years. As desktop technology progresses, and realistically priced software packages become as powerful as Digital Fusion, for example, the perceived mid-range products will gain headway on the high-end."
