Final Trailer for ‘The Marvels’ Features Surprising Cameo

Caption Marvel forms an unlikely trio with Captain Rambeau and Ms. Marvel to save the universe this Friday, November 10... and guess who shows up?

Be there for the moment that changes everything. Marvel Studios released the final trailer for The Marvels during ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” game, which sets up the stakes for Captain Marvel and her team as they go up against a formidable enemy.  Also, can we talk about that Valkyrie cameo? Way to keep that a secret until the (almost) bitter end, Marvel!

In the film, Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, reclaims her identity from the tyrannical Kree and takes revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with those of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”

The Marvels stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson. Nia DaCosta directs, with Kevin Feige producing. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, and Matthew Jenkins are executive producers. The screenplay is by Megan McDonnell, DaCosta, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells.

The powerful VFX are produced by ILM; RISE; Sony Pictures Imageworks; Trixter; and Wētā FX. The production VFX supervisor is Tara DeMarco.

The Marvels bursts into theaters on November 10.
