First Teaser Trailer Released for 'The Lego Movie'

Warner Bros. releases the first teaser trailer for the CG-animated The Lego Movie, starring the vocal talents of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie, with Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.

Warner Bros. has released the first teaser trailer for The Lego Movie, giving fans a look at the vast assemblage of popular-culture references to be featured in the upcoming comedy.

Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the directing team behind Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street, The Lego Movie is the first-ever, full-length theatrical Lego adventure. It stars the vocal talents of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie, with Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.

The 3D CG animated film follows Emmet (voiced by Pratt), an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average Lego minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant (voiced by Ferrell), a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the directing team behind Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street, wrote and directed the action adventure, which has a release date of February 7, 2014.
