Fox Atomic has snapped up the timely sci fi comedy spec script, SPACE INVADER, and attached Will Arnett to star and produce, VARIETY reported. Peter Principato and Paul Young, via their Principato Young Ent. company, will also produce the film written by written by Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger.
The movie, set on a space station, centers on a love triangle. Robbie Brenner and John Davis will exec produce SPACE INVADER.
This is the first project Fox Atomic since Debbie Liebling moved into the production president's post last month, and it's the second film Arnett will star and produce with Principato Young after THE AMBASSADOR at DreamWorks.
