Expansion of the Virtual Reality Studio headed by global head of VR Amy Small marks the proliferation of creative tech exploration.
Since its inception in 2014, Framestore’s VR Studio has become the most awarded in the world in the category. Some of the standout VR projects include the 19x Cannes Lion winner “Field Trip to Mars,” 2014’s Game of Thrones episode, “Ascend The Wall,” and the 2016 Cannes Lion Grand Prix in Mobile, GE’s “Nature of Industry,” as part of the #NYTVR launch.
“Everyone is looking to VR right now,” said Amy Small, Global Head of VR. “We’re working unilaterally with so many industries that it only made sense to expand our global offering and explore in-depth creative and technological solutions for our partners at every office.”
Working across offices, platforms and departments has created a successful synergy for Framestore. They recently led the way with multi-platform storytelling for Warner Bros’ Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them which coupled extraordinary visual effects for film with an interactive mobile VR experience.
