FremantleMedia Enterprises has inked a first-look agreement with Liquid Comics, which was previously known as Virgin Comics, reports VARIETY. Beginning the deal, Liquid will publish two titles later in the year, which will be developed for other media at Fremantle. The animated TV series ANI-MAX follows a boy who can take on the powers and appearance of any animal he touches. The drama FIRST FAMILY follows the difficulties of being the teenaged children of the U.S. president.
Both ANI-MAX and FIRST FAMILY were created by Liquid Comics co-founders and managing partners Gotham Chopra and Sharad Devarajan. FremantleMedia's Jeff Tahler brokered the deal with Liquid.
