Futurikon and BRB Fire Up Dragon Hunters

BRB and leading French producer Futurikon are about to launch DRAGON HUNTERS in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. The series recounts the misfortunes of Lian Chi and Gwizdo, two dragon hunters who have to take on more than 50 of these legendary monsters in a fantasy medieval world set in the future.

DRAGON HUNTERS debuted at last years MIPCOM Jr., confirmed broadcasters include Cartoon Network (USA), France 3 and Canal J (France), RAI (Italy) and Super RTL (Germany).With an audience share of more than 38% on its first airing in France, DRAGON HUNTERS has attracted major licensees in the videogame, comics, trading cards and collectibles sectors, and several promotions are already under way, such as a McDonalds Happy Meal in Germany. The music track, created by the mythical group The Cure, is shortly due to be released on CD.

BRB Internacional is the exclusive agent for all rights to DRAGON HUNTERS in Spain and Portugal.

BRBs animated productions have entertained children around the world for almost three generations, including DAVID THE GNOME, DOGTANIAN, AROUND THE WORLD WITH WILLY Fog and MORT & PHIL. Upcoming animated productions are also targeted to be released theatrically and as videogames. BRBs most recent live-action productions include three primetime TV movies for Antena 3.

Created in 1996, the production company Futurikon, with studios in Paris and Angoulême, specializes in the production and distribution of animated series for kids, various TV programs and documentaries.
