Following the unveiling of 17 minutes of footage in an extended IMAX preview of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy,’ Marvel debuts an extended trailer for the upcoming film.
Following last night’s unveiling of 17 minutes of footage in an extended IMAX preview of Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel has debuted an extended trailer for the film via Fandango.
Set against the classic rock song, “Cherry Bomb,” from The Runaways, the trailer offers a first look at Michael Rooker as Yondu and spotlights the funny banter between the unlikely superheroes -- played by Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper -- who team up to protect a powerful and mysterious orb from the villainous Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace).

Directed by James Gunn, the Marvel Studios film arrives in theaters August 1, 2014.
