Greece Gets Set For ‘Winx Club’ Movie Magic

Rainbow announces that the eagerly anticipated third ‘Winx Club’ movie, ‘The Mystery of the Abyss,’ is set to hit cinemas in Greece throughout April!

Family entertainment specialist Rainbow has announced that the eagerly anticipated third Winx Club movie – The Mystery of the Abyss – is set to hit cinemas in Greece throughout April!

The Mystery of the Abyss sees the Winx fairies in an adventure on the land and in the water as they face their biggest challenge yet. They must battle against the Trix and the evil nymph Politea, who are on the brink of becoming more powerful than ever before – and only the Winx can stop them! The upcoming release has been advertised cross Greece by a wide-ranging marketing campaign and expectations are high, as the film has already shown in several other countries and performed very well at the box office.

The movie is distributed by Feelgood Entertainment and had its Greek premiere on April 5th, before hitting the big screen in towns and cities across the country from April 12th. Fans also got the chance to meet their heroines during a special Winx Club event that took place at the Avenue Mall in Athens on April 3rd and 4th.

Winx Club is a massive hit across Greece so it’s great for fans to be able to see their favourite fairies at the cinema,” says Andrea Graciotti, Head of Sales and co-production of Rainbow Group. “It’s a classic tale of good vs evil, is beautifully animated and features the trademark Winx Club mixture of fashion, friendship and humour. Anybody who chooses to go and see it has a magical experience to look forward to!”
