The original series from the creator of ‘Made In Abyss’ and ‘No Game, No Life’ heads to AMC’s new streaming service this Fall.
AMC’s new targeted streaming service HIDIVE has picked up exclusive rights to Kadokawa’s (Made In Abyss And No Game, No Life) original sci-fi rom-com anime series Love Flops, slated to premiere on the streamer this Fall.
Also, a serialized manga adapted from the series and illustrated by artist Ryudai Ishizaka is available in Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine.
In the series (HIDIVE synopsis), Asahi Kashiwagi lives the typical life of an average high school student — until the day a TV fortune teller’s predictions come true one after another, culminating in a series of risqué encounters! Destiny seemingly draws five beautiful girls into Asahi’s path, and soon he finds himself fielding not one, not two, but five love confessions. Asahi will need to follow his heart to find the perfect love for him, or else his love fortunes may end in one epic flail and flop.
The series stars Ryota Osaka (We Never Learn: BOKUBEN); Miku Ito (The Quintessential Quintuplets); Ayana Taketatsu (Date A Live); Rie Takahashi (Teasing Master Takagi-san3); Hisako Kanemoto (Food Wars!); Marika Kohno (Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World); and Jun Fukuyama (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion).
Future home video releases and distribution will be by Senta.
