Fox and Blue Sky’s ICE AGE: DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS is officially the international box office champ. ICE AGE 3 has now made $551.4 million outside the U.S., beating out the former champ Pixar’s FINDING NEMO, which earned $524.9 million overseas. Part of ICE AGE 3’s success is due to increased ticket prices for the 3-D presentation.
Disney/Pixar’s UP, which is also screening in 3-D, has just started its international run to big numbers. The animated critical favorite has made $54.1 million thus far overseas.
