International Student Film Competition Calls for 1st Event

The former non-competitive student film screenings at the International Film Festival For Children and Youth in Zlin have become the International Student Film Competition beginning this year. Zlinsky Pes is now organized by Studio produkce 2 at Film School Zlin. Student filmmakers can compete in five categories: animated films, feature films, documentary films, music videos and experimental films.

In addition to the film contest, the organizers have also scheduled a series of workshops focused on animation, directing or VJ-ing. The best workshop projects will receive special awards. Zlinsky Pes will be a meeting place for young film and media creators, and will offer a highly visible venue for the presentation of work from film schools and other audiovisual educational institutions.
