Disney has tapped Karl Gajdusek (UNKNOWN) to rewrite Joseph Kosinski's sci-fi flick OBLIVION, which has been renamed HORIZONS, reports Heat Vision. Kosinski conceived the story, which is being transformed into a comic by Radical Publishing. The story follows a soldier assigned a patrol on a remote planet who encounters a stranger. William Monahan (THE DEPARTED) wrote the original draft. Kosinski, Barry Levine, and Jeffrey Silver are the producers.
