Culver City, CA -- The Mill LA announced a multimedia effort alongside Sonos Studio for an installation experience of “Bugs.” This collaboration is a multimedia installation featuring a band of insects brought to life by filmmaker Tom Kuntz and The Mill LA, featuring exuberant loops of electronic musician Dan Deacon.

Incorporating SONOS PLAYBAR, the exhibition is made up of six large monoliths containing TV screens positioned in a circle to immerse visitors in the visual and aural show. Kuntz designed the “Bugs”, Deacon composed loops for each, while The Mill LA animated the characters. In addition, to celebrate the opening of the exhibition at Sonos Studios in Los Angeles, Dan Deacon will perform with the “Bugs.”

WHAT:“Bugs” Installation Experience - Each Bug’s character comes to life via a monitor and SONOS PLAYBAR and is powered by a BrightSign digital media player. PLAYBAR, the ultimate conduit merging video and sound, conveys each Bug’s rich musical soundscape to accompany the intricately rendered visuals. All six characters perform simultaneously, surrounding the visitor, for an intense audile and visual experience, demonstrating the supremely immersive energy of the combined senses.
