Disney and Pixar have released the first official trailer for “Monsters University.”
Disney and Pixar have released the first official trailer for Monsters University. The CG animated feature, a prequel to the 2001 hit Monsters, Inc., takes a look at the relationship between Mike and Sulley during their days at the University of Fear -- when they weren't necessarily the best of friends.
Billy Crystal and John Goodman lead a voice cast that includes Steve Buscemi, Ken Jeong, Kelsey Grammer, Rob Riggle and JB Smoove. Monsters University is slated for release on June 21, 2013.
Taking an innovative approach, Disney and Pixar have debuted four separate versions of the trailer, available at Disney.com, iTunes Trailers, Yahoo! Movies and The Huffington Post.
"Billy Crystal's an amazing comedic actor," remarked Monsters University director Dan Scanlon. "He gave us so much fun material, we decided to cut four slightly different versions of the trailer. We are so happy to have him back as Mike!"
Watch all four versions of the new trailer and vote for your favorite Mike sleep talking line on the official Monsters University Facebook page. The winning line will be drawn up by a Pixar artist.
