Creative studio MPC takes home the prize for visual effects from last week’s 2103 AICP Awards for Dell’s “Thomas.”

Creative studio MPC took home the prize for visual effects from last week’s 2103 AICP Awards despite a fiercely competitive field.

MPC was recognized for its CG work on “Thomas,” a new spot for Dell that introduces Thomas M. Wilks, a district manager by day who is creating a surprising graphic novel on his seemingly typical daily commute home.

A collaboration with Furlined Director Bjoern Ruehmann and Y&R NY, the commercial is a remarkable alternate world of anthropomorphic animals brought to surreal life amid the very ordinary backdrop of a morning commuter train.
