Multihouse Creative and Demente Animation Form Strategic Partnership

New deal expands Multihouse’s live-action production offerings, adding animation integration across its various sectors, including Multihouse Impact and Creative Agency divisions.

Los Angeles-based Multihouse Creative Ventures announced a strategic partnership with Demente Animation Studio as a first step in expanding its creative footprint beyond live-action production. The company is currently transforming its production studio space, which will double its current production capacity.

“We are embarking on an exciting journey as we amplify our original programming and development endeavors,” commented Multihouse CEO Michael Tessler. “The addition of world-class animation services, courtesy of Carlos and the visionary team at Demente underscores our commitment to delivering unparalleled storytelling experiences to our clients."

Multihouse has also added Demente founder and CEO Carlos Gaxiola to its advisory board, joining other former and current executives from Industrial Light & Magic, NBC Universal, ESPN, and the Television Academy.

In alignment with this partnership, Multihouse will integrate animated content across various sectors, including their Multihouse Impact and Creative Agency divisions. The company has previously collaborated with brands such as Alienware and Square Enix, as well as social impact partners like The Child Center of NY and IllumiNative.

“Demente Animation has been playing an important role as a full animation 2D-3D studio, helping many series, web series, feature films, trailers, and shorts, not only in entertainment and digital but also in the video game industry,” said Gaxiola. “In recent years, we have been working with companies such as Warner Bros, Mattel, PBS Kids, Sesame Studios, Moonbug, Bento Box, and more recently with Augenblick Studios being in charge of production of the City Island Series for two seasons.”

“Storytelling no longer exists within a silo,” added Tessler. “We cannot be limited to any one medium as the power of technology continues to blur the lines of entertainment and reshape how audiences engage with the stories and characters they love. We couldn’t be more excited for the future.”
