Nelvana Announces New Broadcast Deals for ‘Trucktown’ and ‘Mike the Knight’

TORONTO, CANADA -- Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana has signed broadcast deals with Discovery Latin America and Société Radio-Canada (SRC) in Canada for two seasons of the rough and tumble animated preschool series, Trucktown as well as the third season of Mike the Knight and its adventure specials.

Discovery Latin America will introduce Trucktown to Latin American audiences for the first time on Discovery Kids. Additionally, Discovery Latin America has picked up the third season of Mike the Knight as well as the second 60-minute special, Mike’s Bravest Mission.

In Canada, English networks have been following along with Trucktown’s characters since 2014, but now SRC will bring Trucktown to French Canadian audiences in Quebec along with the third season of Mike the Knight and both 60-minute specials, Journey to Dragon Mountain and Mike’s Bravest Mission.
