‘Astérix & Obélix: The Big Fight’ coming to Netflix Spring 2025.
Netflix has unveiled a teaser trailer and new images from the upcoming animated series Astérix & Obélix: The Big Fight. The modern interpretation of the classic Gaulish duo created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo is directed by series creator Alain Chabat and Fabrice Joubert.
In the upcoming series, Rome is desperate to conquer the last independent village in Gaul and the home of Astérix and Obélix. The secret to the Gauls’ battle superiority is a magic potion, but when the potion master loses his memory, the villagers are left to their own devices against the might of Rome.
Alain Goldman produces in collaboration with Les Éditions Albert René. TAT Productions serves as animation studio. Adaptation and dialogue is by Chabat, Benoît Oullion, and Piano.
