The Vampire Messiah animated thriller series gets another go at enslaving humanity when new episodes hit the streamer on January 16, 2025.
Netflix has dropped a new trailer, key art, and images for Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2. Based on the classic Konami video game, Nocturne picks up 300 years after the end of the original series, which ran four seasons on the streamer.
In Season 2, Richter Belmont and his band of vampire hunters, now joined by Alucard, are in a desperate race against time. Erzsebet Báthory, the Vampire Messiah, who already seems invincible, seeks the full power of the goddess Sekhmet so she can plunge the world into endless darkness and terror.
The voice cast includes Edward Bluemel, Pixie Davies, Thuso Mbedu, Sydney James Harcourt, Nastassja Kinski, Zahn McClarnon, Franka Potente, James Callis, Richard Dormer, Iain Glen, Elarica Johnson, and Aaron Neil.
Creator/showrunner/writer Clive Bradley, showrunner Kevin Kolde, and directors Sam Deats and Adam Deats return for the upcoming season. Bradley, Adam Deats, Sam Deats, Kolde, Fred Seibert, and Adi Shankar executive produce. Project 51 Productions LTD produces. Powerhouse Animation produces the animation studio.
