FXX releases a trailer for its marathon of ‘The Simpsons,’ beginning at 10 p.m. August 21, to kick off the network’s acquisition of syndication rights of Fox’s beloved animated series.
The marathon boasts every episode ever, as well as The Simpsons Movie, airing all 552 episodes and 25 seasons of the show in chronological order. It will run for 12 days, from August 21 to September 1.
The marathon kicks off the network’s acquisition of syndication rights of Fox’s beloved animated series, for which FXX paid a reported $750 million.
In October FXX will launch Simpsons World, a free website hosting all the episodes of the series as well as a wealth of show-related content.
