The VFX studio strengthens its leadership team with the former DNEG, Framestore and MPC animation head and supervisor.
London and Paris-based VFX studio, One of Us has added Stephen Enticott as animation director. The move further strengthens the company’s leadership team led by head of animation, Catherine Mullan.
Mullan, who joined the studio in Spring 2020, has been charged with growing and strengthening the animation team. Under Enticott’s additional leadership, the team will pursue more complex work on a different scale.
“The appeal of joining OOU is the opportunity to help set a course for the animation department,” explained Enticott. “Assisting, in some small way, with the navigation of what we hope will be a great voyage ahead of us.”
As head of animation and animation supervisor at several industry giants (DNEG, Framestore, MPC), Enticott has worked on almost 50 projects with credits including The Lion King, Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Enticott and Mullan have already begun to collaborate, working with crew across all departments in pursuit of a common goal. As expressed by the new animation director, “To collaborate and provide creative freedom to filmmakers in order to bring their imaginations and visions to life - for others to enjoy.”
