Portland, OR (July 26, 2011) – Red Giant (http://www.redgiant.com) today announced the immediate availability of Primatte Keyer V5.0, the Company’s professional green screen tool for extracting keys from any color background. With this new version, Primatte Keyer V5.0 delivers significantly enhanced automation and efficiency and includes three automated tools that provide artists choice and flexibility in their VFX workflow: Auto Compute, Adjust Light and Smart Sample.
Auto Compute is now an easy-to-access button with an improved algorithm and spot-on default settings; Adjust Light is a brand new tool that evens out background colors for accurate background removal; and Smart Sample generates great results using smart foreground sampling and a histogram pass.
Primatte Keyer V5.0 is available immediately as a standalone application, or as part of the Red Giant Keying Suite.
