Reelz Channel has snatched up the rights to miniseries THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH, reports Deadline.com. The cable net has set Dec. 4 for its premiere. The mini originally aired on Starz.
Based on Ken Follett’s book, the story is a conspiracy tale set during the reign of King Stephen and the Anarchy. The cast includes Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell and Donald Sutherland.
Tandem Communications and Muse Ent. in association with Ridley Scott and Tony Scott’s Scott Free Films produced.
