The Town of Fort Myers Beach is hosting a festival dedicated to independent films, shorts, animated works and student films. The four-day event will provide movie-goers the opportunity to see quality independent films and be part of events designed to cultivate the spirit of visual creativity and harbor the talents of upcoming filmmakers. Fees for submissions are as follows: Shorts of 10 minutes or less $10; 11 minutes - 20 minutes $20. Films ranging in length from 21 minutes - 45 minutes are $30 per entry and $50 per entry for films longer than 45 minutes.
