Scott has a vast net of strong relationships in the animation and visual effects worlds, said Peter Laanen, ceo of Expression College for Digital Arts. He has recruited, cast and managed directors, designers and animators in several of his positions, including animation projects at Colossal Pictures, where they worked on about 15-20 projects simultaneously. Scotts background will be extremely valuable to Expression and our students as we take the Industry Relations and Career Development program and expand it to a new level by bringing in new, unique projects for students to work on from leading companies in the industry.

Tolmie added, Expression is an amazing place with a brilliant faculty and state-of-the-art facilities and resources. The students are extremely creative, hard working and focused, and their reels reflect this. Ive already begun speaking with friends at various studios about ways to team Expression graduates with directors there. Im very excited to be here, and to begin working with Expression graduates to help them take the next step into the animation industry.
