Side Effects Taps Zerouni

Side Effects Software, developer of the award-winning Houdini family of 3D software, has appointed Craig Zerouni as production consultant. The addition of Zerouni to Side Effects Softwares production team will further establish the companys position as an essential partner for production studios. In this role, Zerouni and team will collaborate directly with production studios and technical directors to help build superior CG pipelines and create cutting-edge digital animation for feature films.

As a 20-year veteran, Zerouni has extensive experience in film production and is credited on dozens of feature films. Among other credits, he served as a technical director at Rhythm & Hues for DAREDEVIL and digital effects director on BEYOND RANGOON. Through his work with CFX Associates and Silicon Grail, he has also consulted with production studios on films such as FIRST KNIGHT and GODZILLA, as well as on THE PRINCE OF EQYPT for DreamWorks and Disneys HERCULES. In addition to his production work in film, Zerouni has supervised the vfx for hundreds of television commercials.

Digital producers Software and technical directors frequently consult Side Effects to assist in overcoming CG pipeline challenges and contributing to the creation of complex 3D animation. Due to his broad technical knowledge of vfx software, Zerouni lends his expertise to production studios to bring their artistic visions to life in feature films.
