The season that began with apologies to Jesse Jackson, ended with Abe Lincoln and featured the "Imaginationland" trilogy has earned Comedy Central's SOUTH PARK its best ratings since 1998.
Spurred on by "Imaginationland," which will be released by Comedy Central Home Ent. and Paramount Home Ent. in March 2008, the 11th season of SOUTH PARK was watched by 3.6 million total viewers (P2+), up 4% from last year's 10th anniversary season. It was also the most-watched season among total viewers since 1998.
The series posted a 2.3 rating among Persons 18-49 (up +6%, vs. season ten) which was its best performance since 2000 in this key demographic. Year-to-date, SOUTH PARK is the #1 original series in cable among Men 18-24, Men 18-34 and Men 18-49. The series' 6.0 rating among Men 18-24 is its best since 1998 and up +34% vs. season ten. In its timeslot (Wednesdays, 10:00-10:30 pm), the series has been the most watched program in all of television among Men 18-24 and ranked #1 in cable among Men 18-34, Men 18-49 and Persons 18-49.
