Québec City-based animation studio to introduce its first TV series, ‘Cracké,’ airing across Canada on Corus Entertainment's TELETOON later this year.
Created and produced by Squeeze in Québec City, Canada,Cracké is a universal 3D animated slapstick comedy series starring Ed, an anxious ostrich dad, and his beloved brood. With good intentions to protect his eight eggs, Ed causes trouble, never missing an opportunity to make things worse for himself.
Cracké has the potential to reach kids big and small, all across the world. Its 52 one-minute episodes are filled with crazy adventures and visual jokes that are hard to resist.
According to Denis Doré, Squeeze’s President and Co-Founder, “We're receiving a lot of positive feedback on the adventures of our paranoid ostrich. We're already developing the second season of Cracké, adding new characters and extending the episodes to a two-minute format. We're coming to the MIPTV with a fresh and creative TV series, and we're hopeful to find great partners here.”
Cracké is coming to life in 2016 through a television series, a mobile video game and a mobile animated comic book.
Cracké was produced in Canada in collaboration with TELETOON, the Canada Media Fund, the Québec Refundable Tax Credit for Film and Television Production (managed by SODEC), the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit (CPTC) - CAVCO and the Bell Fund.
