Continuing its recent growth, Steele VFX has appointed Monique Eissing to the post of Henry artist. Eissing, who has been with the visual effects and finishing studio since 2001, previously served as Mac artist and assistant Henry artist.
"Monique is technically fluent in the art of visual effects," said Steele VFX ceo Jo Steele. "Her progress here has been astounding. Our clients love her subtle attitude, knowledge and willingness to take on any challenge."
"Monique has been a tremendous asset," added Steele VFX visual effects supervisor Jerry Steele. "She is a fast learner and has mastered every system we have. She is very talented and brings great imagination to her work, yet she also has a great sense of propriety. She has become my right hand." Steele added that Eissing has been tackling Henry and Visual Effects work on her own for six months, including recent commercials for Old Navy, GAP and KFC as well as a music videos for the U.K. group Sugababes, Alicia Keyes and Mary J. Blige.
Eissing initially joined Steele VFX as an assistant to Steele, but quickly became the company's lead Mac artist. As such, she has worked on spots for Lexus, Saturn, GMC and Burger King, and videos for such artists as Britney Spears. A native of Rochester, New York, Eissing grew up in Chicago and earned a degree in communications from Bradley University. She began her career as an assistant editor at the commercial boutique Lost Planet in Santa Monica.
"I enjoy collaborating with clients and problem-solving," said Eissing. She added that she is grateful for the opportunity she has had at Steele VFX to gain skills in a variety of effects platforms and to gain hands on experience in a variety of challenging, high profile projects.
