Studio 100’s ‘Arthur and the Minimoys’ Headed to Finland

First episodes of CGI-animated series based on Luc Besson’s successful book saga and movie trilogy are set for delivery by December 2017.

MUNICH -- Studio 100 Media has sold the CGI-animated series Arthur and the Minimoys (26 x 26’) to Finland. Nelonen Media, part of Sanoma Media Finland, the leading multichannel media company in Finland known for its leading brands, has acquired the new series based on Luc Besson’s successful book saga and movie trilogy. Currently in production, the first episodes of the series are set for delivery by December 2017. The agreement gives Nelonen Media exclusive TV rights for their Free and Pay TV channels.

“We are delighted about this extended collaboration with Nelonen Media who is already on board with us for two of our latest productions, Nils Holgersson (52 x 13’) and The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill (52 x 12’),” said Martin Krieger, Head of Global Distribution at Studio 100 Media, commenting on the deal. “We are confident that each of the three new CGI series will capture kids’ attention in Finland and further across international territories.”
