Studio 100 and Red Kite Animation to co-produce new animated feature directed by Piet de Rycker.
LOS ANGELES -- Germany’s Studio 100 Media and U.K. outfit Red Kite Animation have announced their collaboration on production for Princess Emmy – The Movie.
Red Kite is co-producer with Studio 100 Media and its parent company Studio 100 NV (Belgium). Munich-based Studio 100 Film acts as the international sales agency for the worldwide rights for Emmy. The movie will be directed by Piet de Rycker (Laura’s Star, Little Polar Bear) and is set for delivery in 2018. The film has already been sold to 98 countries around the world. The movie tells the story of a young princess who is severely put to the test and risks everything in order to win the right to possess a truly remarkable gift.
