Summit Ent. has acquired the rights to the upcoming YA book NIGHT CIRCUS from first time writer Erin Morgenstern, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Set in the 19th century, the story pits two young magicians against each other in a rivalry that began with their fathers.
Morgenstern’s publishing agent, Richard Pine, will exec produce. Summit's Erik Feig and Jeyun Choi will shepherd the project.
