Superights has announced that the 2016 twice-Kidscreen Awarded series Puffin Rock (78 x 7’) has been travelling the globe.
Narrated by comedy star Chris O’Dowd, the co-production between Oscar-Nominated Cartoon Saloon, Dog Ears and Penguin Random House was initially commissioned by RTEJr and Nick Jr UK and has already been picked up by NRK (Norway), SVT (Sweden), RUV (Iceland), ABC (Australia) and Netflix.
But the series has been continuing its worldwide roll-out landing on Nick Jr Australia, DR (Denmark), BBC Alba (Scotland), Sic Kids (Angola & Mozambique), e- Junior (UAE) Hop! (Israel), Daekyo (South Korea) and Good TV (Taiwan). ABC Commercial has also secured the DVD rights for a Spring release of season 1.
Set on a wild island off the coast of Ireland, Puffin Rock is a playful green series for pre-schoolers. The series follows the daily adventures of the cute sister and brother puffling pair, Oona and Baba, who explore their natural environment along with their parents and animal friends.
