London — Tiny Island Productions, Singapore’s leading Stereoscopic-3D CG animation production company and Classic Media, the global media company with a portfolio of some of the world’s top family entertainment brands, today announced the launch of “Dream Defenders” a new CG-animated action-comedy series for 6-9 year olds at this year's MIPCOM market. Tiny Island will distribute the series in North America and Asia whilst Classic Media will manage distribution across all media including consumer products in all other territories Worldwide.
Zane and Zoey, twins and rivals are the “Dream Defenders” (26x30min eps) - the last line of defence between the Real World and the nightmare creatures of the Dreamworlds. Controlled by the evil Icela, ruler of Dreamworld, the nightmares have come to life and are threatening to break through and take control. Only Zane and Zoey, and their supercomputer Zeus, stand in Icela's way... Only Zane and Zoey are the Dream Defenders. What if you could kick your nightmare’s butt’s?…
Based on original concepts by Tiny Island Productions, this production with Classic Media will be produced at the Singapore-based studio, with a writing team based out of Los Angeles. Due for delivery in late 2011, the series will be available in both nonstereo-3D and stereo-3D formats.
Visitors to the Singapore Pavilion at MIPCOM 2010 will experience a Stereoscopic-3D market preview of the show.

The show is co-financed by Tiny Island Productions and the Media Development Authority of Singapore, at a total production budget of US$5.2 million and is available for worldwide acquisition and licensing.
