Tom Snyder Productions announced a deal with CartoonNetwork.com to create, develop and produce three original Web Premiere Toons. The first series is SWITCHEROO, which interviews children and animates their daydreams with a satirical twist. OVERDUE chronicles an over-aggressive librarian and the extremes to which she will go to retrieve overdue books and collect fines. Finally, LETS HAVE FUN watches the slow break down of a live-TV childrens show host who really has no patience with kids. "Did we get three shorts? Cool...It's great to be working with a Web site that also has TV savvy, and we are just thrilled to be getting away with this," said the shows producer Carl Adams. Sam Register, VP of CartoonNetwork.Com said, "The sophisticated humor of Tom Snyder Productions will be a strong compliment to the 50 shorts we are producing." Each of the two-minute animated shorts will be released later this year. Tom Snyder Productions has created TV series such as DR. KATZ: PROFESSIONAL THERAPIST, THE DICK AND PAULA CELEBRITY SPECIAL, SQUIGGLEVISION, HOME MOVIES and HEY MONIE.
