Toon Boom Appoints Lindsay Watson U.K. Representative

MONTREAL -- Two-time Emmy Award recipient Toon Boom Animation has announced the appointment of Lindsay Watson as its U.K. representative, catering to studios, universities, colleges, professional animators and secondary schools throughout the country.

Watson runs CANUK Productions, a private consultancy company dealing specifically with co-production of animated children’s series. She has also been closely involved with the launch of BFX at BAFTA, overseeing a small commercial studio and working on Ph.D. funding and community projects. Watson recently started Animated Women U.K., a volunteer organization launched at Mind Candy studios and involving a showcase at MPC.

Thanks to her solid experience, Toon Boom is now a featured animation skillset approved for training funds by Creative Skillset, which provides 50 percent towards costs for companies contributing to the Skills Investment Fund.
