Via is Nine Inch Nails forum, Trent Reznor announced that he has changed his mind and will no longer be involved in ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER. The alt music icon and recent Oscar winner for the score on THE SOCIAL NETWORK was set to score and play the vampire that kills Lincoln's mother in the film.
The film stars Benjamin Walker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Dominic Cooper and Anthony Mackie. Timur Bekmambetov will direct from a script by the book's author Seth Graham-Smith. Bekmambetov will also produce with Tim Burton. 20th Century Fox has staked out June 22, 2012 for the film's release.
