The Hettema Group and Caesar’s Entertainment Corp taps Viva Design Inc. to create two large scale spots commemorating the opening of the latest Las Vegas attraction, the High Roller observation wheel.
Viva Design Inc. partnered with the Hettema Group and Caesar’s Entertainment Corporation to welcome the latest Las Vegas attraction, the High Roller observation wheel. Their work will premiere in the heart of America’s playground at the corner of Flamingo and Las Vegas Boulevard Memorial Day weekend inside Caesar’s entertainment and shopping center juggernaut the LINQ.
Viva Designs’ two 3 minute original animation, using large scale projection, will premiere the holiday weekend as visitors wait in line to board the observation wheel. Both spots celebrate and reflect the amazing city that the observation wheel offers visitors, by invoking the iconic faces and atmosphere that everyone has come to love in Las Vegas.
- The first spot brings back The King by filming an Elvis impersonator and layering on glitz and glitter through photoshop, stop motion and AfterEffects animations.
- The second spot captured Vegas performers, from acrobats who pirouette through the air to the break dancers and flamenco dancers, showing off their best moves and sharing the aspirations behind their passion. It captures the heart of what makes Vegas entertainment the best in the world!
Ulrike Kerber, principal and creative director of Viva Design stated, “We created two 3 min original pieces of animations for this large scale projection, one of them titled Elvis. A lot of details were poured into this spot and we ended up with over 9,868 files and even more layers in AfterEffects. These were loads of fun and please attend the official grand opening this Memorial Day weekend and enjoy the ride! I will meet you there!”
