Warner Bros. Animation Sets ‘Oh, The Places You’ll Go!’ Release Date

The globetrotting animated musical adaptation of the beloved Dr. Seuss book, which follows a young adventurer as they journey through the joys, heartaches, peaks, and valleys of life, will hit theaters March 17, 2028 in IMAX.

To the theaters we will go! Warner Bros. Pictures Animation has announced the upcoming animated adaptation of the beloved final Dr. Seuss book, “Oh, the Places you’ll Go!” will premiere March 17, 2028 in IMAX.

The film, “a high priority project for the studio,” is a globetrotting animated musical that follows a young adventurer as they journey through the joys, heartaches, peaks, and valleys of life. It is being made in collaboration with Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Bad Robot.

Jon M. Chu (Wicked, Crazy Rich Asians) and Jill Culton (Abominable, Open Season) direct from a script by Rob Lieber. EGOT-winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman) crafted original songs for the film based on the book.

J.J. Abrams produces for Bad Robot alongside Gregg Taylor.
