Warner Bros. delays the Andy and Lana Wachowski movie ‘Jupiter Ascending’ from July 18 to February 6, 2015.
Warner Bros. has delayed the Andy and Lana Wachowski movie Jupiter Ascending from July 18 to February 6, 2015, according to a report by Yahoo News.
The studio reportedly did not give a reason for pulling the sci-fi feature from the summer schedule a mere seven weeks before its opening.
Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth and Sean Bean star in the film, produced and directed by the Wachowskis from their own script.
The story, set at a time when humans are at the bottom of the evolutionary ladder, follows a woman targeted for assassination by the queen of the universe.
Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow co-financed the $150 million project, which was set over a year ago to debut in July.
