Produced by Tom Mortimer and executive produced by Dave Anderson at London-based production studio 12foot6, Lost Property premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2014. The film is centered on an old man who works in a Lost Property office. Every day an old woman comes into the Office presenting an item she’s lost, and every day he tries to help her find it. With each day that passes, expectations falter, hopes fade and the feeling of loss grows stronger. After searching a series of enchanted rooms she eventually finds much more than she ever hoped for:
The characters were created and animated using Adobe Flash, with backgrounds painted in Photoshop by assistant artist Marc Moynihan. The 12foot6 animation team included Ana García Sebastiá, Anna Fyda, Simon Testro, Michael Towers and Nathan Brenville. After Effects work was completed by Aman-Shah Andrew, and visual effects were provided by Rushes.
