WATCH: Adult Swim Releases New Trailer for ‘Rick and Morty’ Season 2

Ten new episodes of the show from Justin Roiland and ‘Community’ creator Dan Harmon begin premiering on Adult Swim on Sunday, July 26.

Rick and Morty, the Adult Swim show from Justin Roiland and Community creator Dan Harmon, became an instant sci-fi classic when its first season finished in April of 2014. Since then, Rick and Morty fans have been clamoring for more but Adult Swim has been quiet up until now on the premiere date for season two.

Now Adult Swim released a new trailer for season two of Rick and Morty, with the announcement that 10 new episodes begin premiering on the network on Sunday, July 26.

The trailer, which includes Rick's Lost hatch, Sanchez ski shoes, and an insane amount of gross and weird stuff, is just a reminder that there is indeed no one better with whom to go on intergalactic adventures than your drunk, genius grandpa who has a watch that can turn people into snakes:

Returning this summer on Adult Swim, Rick and Morty are back with more sci-fi adventures and family squabbles. Rick Sanchez (Justin Roiland) is still living with his daughter Beth’s (Sarah Chalke) family and causing more trouble than ever. This season the rest of the family, his son-in-law Jerry (Chris Parnell), grand-daughter Summer (Spencer Grammer) and grand-son Morty (Roiland) are dragged into Rick’s intergalactic adventures, as he faces new threats and mysteries of his secret past are revealed. Can the family survive Rick’s insanity and all the chaos the universe throws at them?
