Afrika Toon, the Ivorian 2D / 3D animation studio dedicated to promoting African culture through storytelling about African heroes and legends, has just released a teaser trailer for their upcoming CG animated feature, Samory. The film is the first of three planned features that will feature great figures of African history.
The story takes place in the 1800s, in West Africa. Samory Touré, a warrior, king, and hero leads his troops in a battle against French General Borgnis-Desbordes’ conquest of the Western African territories.
