Stop-motion short, ‘Evolve: A Foody Tale,’ produced by a group of students from local schools in Turin with the support of the VIEW Conference, aims to draw awareness to the importance of food safety.
Created for the Milan EXPO 2015, Evolve: A Foody Tale is new a short film from directors Kris Pearn (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and Simone Giampaolo that aims to draw awareness to the importance of food safety.
Shot on two iPads using construction paper cutouts, Evolve was produced by a group of students from local schools in Turin with the support of the VIEW Conference, Italy’s leading computer graphics confab, and partner Istituto Zooprofilattico, as well as sponsorship from Compagnia di San Paolo, Colonna e Finzi school and the Istituto Albe Steiner.
In the stop-motion short, our protagonist learns how to properly wash and prepare his food in order to avoid food-borne illnesses. Check it out in the player below:
