Disney is moving forward on a hand-drawn animated theatrical release for Winnie the Pooh, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.
The film is planned for spring 2011, featuring the second-biggest character franchise behind Mickey Mouse. The new film will include merchandise and book tie-ins.
Disney announced the film at Licensing International Expo in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
