YTV & Treehouse Focus February on Love, Snow & Debuts

YTV and Treehouse are focusing their February lineups around themes of love and snow as well as premiering new series.

On Feb. 17, 2006, CAPTAIN FLAMINGO will premiere in The Zone at 4:30 pm.

In a world where grown-ups rule and where big kids and even big dogs get more respect than little kids Captain Flamingo becomes the champion of the little ones. Armed with his backpack of powerful joke-store novelty items, Milo Powell little kid turned superhero saves the day every time with a little help from his best pal, anonymous sidekick and not-so-secret admirer, Lizbeth. Just call out, Uh-oh, Flamingo! and the little square shaped boy will soon be there to save the day in the most unexpected way.

CAPTAIN FLAMINGO will also air on Saturdays at 3:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Feb. 28, YTV will debut SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS in Dunces and Dragons at 8:00 pm. After a freak jousting accident at a Medieval Times restaurant, SpongeBob and Patrick are transported to a medieval version of Bikini Bottom. YTV prepares for this all-new episode with four back-to-back adventure-themed episodes starting at 4:00 pm in The Zone.

On Feb. 5 from 8:00 to 11:00 am, YTVs Snowed In Sunday presents a morning full of wintry-themed programming.

At 8:00 am, JIMMY NEUTRON: JIMMY ON ICE has Jimmy's attempt to cool off the summer heat wave in Retroville plunging the city into a new ice age.

At 9:00 am, THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS: SNOWBOUND has Timmy and his family heading to Mt. Dimmsdale for a ski vacation. But the mood grows cold when an avalanche traps Timmy and Vicky in the cave of the abominable snowman! With circumstances making it impossible for Timmy to wish himself free, Timmy and Vicky are going to have to forget their hate for each other and work together to save their frosty butts.

YTV celebrates Valentines Day with themed episodes and affectionate specials.

In THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS: LOVE STRUCK on Feb. 13 at 5:00 pm, after Timmys attempt to make Trixie Tang his valentine ends in humiliating failure, Timmy wishes for a world without girls. When his wish comes true and the sexes separate, the men go to Himmsdale a sports-infested, meat-eating mess and the girls go to Hersdale a utopia where society can grind to a halt at the sight of a spider. With boys and girls separated, love is disappearing and its killing Cupid! Timmy, with Cupids help, has to get the men and women back before they fill the empty voids in their hearts.

In SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS: VALENTINE'S DAY on Feb. 13 at 8:00 pm, SpongeBob has made an extra special valentine for his best friend in the world Patrick Starfish.

In A CHARLIE BROWN VALENTINE, airing Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 6:00 pm, lovesick Charlie Brown hopes to get a valentine from the Little Red-Haired Girl, as does Sally from Linus, Lucy from Schroeder and Peppermint Patty from Charlie Brown.

In BE MY VALENTINE, CHARLIE BROWN, airing Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 6:30 pm, love is in the air, but where are Charlie Browns valentines? As he hopes for some sort of love poem from the Little Red-Haired Girl, Charlie Brown would settle for a card from anyone. Meanwhile Linus crush on his teacher, Miss Othmar, has him stressed out trying to get her just the right valentine's gift.

ZAPX host, Simon, pays tribute to the Oscars on Sunday, Feb. 26, from 12:00 noon to 8:30 pm by introducing four back-to-back Academy Award-winning and nominated movies in the third annual Popcorn Til You Dropcorn Day. The lineup includes:

* The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius (Oscar nominee Best Animated Feature) at 12:00 noon. * THE KARATE KID PART 2 (Oscar nominee Best Original Song Glory of Love) at 2:00 pm.* ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES (Oscar nominee Best Art Direction) at 4:00 pm.* LOONEY TUNES: BACK IN ACTION - (Featuring the classic, Oscar-nominated Warner Bros. characters in the Canadian Exclusive Premiere) at 6:00 pm.

On Saturday and Sunday at 4:00 pm, YTVs feature film block, 3 Hairy Thumbs Up, will feature the following animated films:

Over on Treehouse, three-time Emmy Award winner, ROLIE POLIE OLIE joins the schedule on Monday, Feb. 6 at 7:00 am airing throughout the week from Monday through Friday at 7:00 am and 6:30 pm, as well as on Saturdays at 5:00 pm and Sundays at 8:00 am. Treehouse kicks off the new series by premiering the ROLIE POLIE OLIE movie on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 6:00 pm.

On Wednesday, Feb. 14, Treehouse celebrates Valentines Day with themed episodes of popular series. The day will also feature the premiere of DRAGON: THE BEST A DRAGON CAN BE at 3:00 pm.

Realizing that all his friends are the best at something, Dragon goes on a mission to find out what hes best at. Dragon tries numerous things and decides hes the best wiggler. Dragons friends are amazed by his wiggly manner, but they start to wonder why hes wiggling like that in the first place. Dragon explains that he wanted to be the best at something. But his friends agree on another thing Dragon is the best at: making them laugh and being a good friend.

A Valentines Day themed episode of the new series will air at 8:00 pm.
