Veteran ‘The Simpsons’ writer and producer to write and showrun the new series based on the famed comic strip.
The ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ singer joins Peter Dinklage, Lilly Singh, Rainn Wilson, and RuPaul in Aniventure and Cinesite’s animated feature, based on Berkeley Breathed’s New York Times bestseller, ‘Pete & Pickles,’ slated for delivery later this year.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist will co-write and executive produce the new series along with Miramax, Spyglass and Project X, with animation produced by Bento Box.
Voice cast and concept art released for upcoming futuristic, cyberpunk animated feature, helmed by Cinzia Angelini and Maurizio Parimbelli, from a script by Pulitzer Prize-winning ‘Bloom County’ cartoonist Berkeley Breathed.
