As a member of the trade association, the studio will have the opportunity to engage in shaping policy discussions, network with industry leaders, and access resources and training.
VFX supervisor Jason Smith and his bevy of VFX studios, including ILM, DNEG, and Rodeo FX, delivered roughly 8,000 visual effects shots including Ents, a Balrog, Barrow-wights, Shelob, and the Elven forge, on the sophomore outing of Prime Video’s return to J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth.
Debuting during San Diego Comic-Con’s cast and showrunner panel, the reveal showcases never-before-seen footage of the legendary Rings, magical creatures, glimpses of battles to come, and the Dark Lord Sauron’s growing evil influence; new season debuts August 29.
Prime Video drops eight segments of bonus content for their epic Middle Earth fantasy adventure series, now available through X-Ray, which include unreleased footage, interviews with cast and crew, the creation of costumes, and much more.
